Bunco Printable Score Sheets – Ever since I was little, I loved playing the Bunco dice game with my friends. I was first introduced to this game by a dear friend from church who was also my daughter’s babysitter. Today is also my sister’s birthday and she likes to play board games and card games. So this free set of printable score cards, report cards, and tent table cards is a tribute to her birthday! Happy Birthday Cindy Lou!! (Lou isn’t actually her middle name, that’s just what I call her.)
Bunco is not just a dice game! Bunco is also a great way to get together and communicate regularly with friends. Get together with 11 of your friends for a fun get together. When I first started playing Bunco, we played a few times a month and took turns hosting the game.

I love the idea of a baby shower! You can have a lot of fun with this game! Anyone can learn to play Bunco, no skills are required, but we also answer any questions and clarify the more complex rules. Bunco is a fast-paced, wonderfully social game that’s easy to learn and just involves rolling three dice.

The team with the most points at the end of the round is the winner. A game is six rounds. Awards are usually given to overall winners for various categories, such as most wins, most BUNCOs, etc.

Bunco game is really easy, just roll three dice! Here are the guidelines on how to enjoy this fun game that is suitable for playing in larger groups (4 – 40+ players).
Players at the head table signal the start of each round (eg ring a bell, blow a horn, shout “start”). When this happens, the first player at each table takes the three dice and starts rolling them.

If a player’s roll contains at least 1 point, that player may reroll all three dice.
After a player has not rolled points, the dice are moved to the next player. A player’s accumulated points for his turn are recorded for that team.
Once a team at the main table has scored 21 (or more) points, a buzzer sounds to signal the end of the round for all tables.

You win points by rolling all three dice and the number on the dice matches the round number.
You have one matching die, so you get 1 point, add it to your total for that turn, and then roll again.
You have two matching dice, so you score 2 points, add them to the total for that turn, and then roll again.

You have no matching dice, but you have three of a kind, so you win 5 points, a mini-BUNCO. Add 5 to the total for that turn and then roll again.
You have three matching dice, so you win 21 points, BUNCO. Live BUNCO and note it on your personal score card, add 21 to your total score for that round, and then roll again.
NOTE: If you are in the top table, you will also signal the end of the round to all other tables as your team has scored at least 21 points.

You will not earn any more points. Your total points for that round are added to your team’s score and play passes to the next player.
NOTE: Once a team in the top table gets 21 points or more, a sound will be played to indicate that the round is over.
However, all current players at the table (including the player who rang the bell at the main table!) are allowed to finish their turn. i.e. to continue rolling until they receive a no result roll.

So, it is possible to get a few more points or even roll one or more Buncos after the bell has rung!
TIP: As you play, write your partner’s name/initial in each box and keep track of your and your partner’s combined points. Why?
If you lose track of whether you won or lost a game, you can go back and ask your partner.

A Tally Sheet is basically an extra piece of paper that helps the secretary of each table to keep track of the scores during the round.
The cumulative scores for each team are kept and then at the end of the round the scores are transferred to each player’s individual score sheet.
Instead of dividing and then updating the score (in this case the number of wins, losses, etc.), when you use “total” you simply draw a line each time you score a point.

The clever part is that when you get to the fifth, tenth, fifteenth, etc. row, you cut the previous four.
Part of the fun of BUNCO is that it is very social. At the end of each round, some players will move to a new table, but everyone has a new partner!

TIP: To help players determine where to move next, it is common to have “Table Direction” cards on each table that explain where to move next.
Both teams have one full turn. Each player has another turn and adds their scores to the existing team total. If they are still tied, they continue to have one full turn (all players draw) until one team wins.
If time is short, it is customary for one player from each team to roll one die and the highest roll is considered the winning team.

The reality is that there are times when someone cannot attend. In these cases, you can play with GHOST!
Play continues as normal around the table, except that the player who partners with the ghost will roll twice. Once for their own outing, where they will also score Tally Bunco as usual, and then again when the game goes to the empty seat, for Ghost, where only the score counts for the team score.
Ghosting can also be due to a player leaving to use the restroom, taking a call, or due to a no show.
